Sherry Aggarwal Gupta Emirgan Sutis, a Turkish restaurant  introduces ‘Gozleme’- a traditional turkish food at its outlets in Pearl and financial square in Doha. Gozleme is a traditional savoury Turkish flatbread and pastry dish, made of hand-rolled dough, lightly brushed with butter and eggs, and filled with various toppings.  The Gozleme is one of the everyday foods that are cooked in Turkish homes. However, it is not easily available in all the Turkish restaurants in Qatar. Emiragn Sutis has hired bakery chef Handan Ayas from Turkey to bring the authentic flavour to the Emirgan Suti’s new menu. The restaurant has set up Gozleme live cooking station in the open and all the customers can actually watch Gozlemes getting baked live in front of them. The live station itself gives you the vibes of traditionalism and authenticity and obiviously the flavours of freshly baked Gozleme leave you wanting for more. In order to i...

The restaurant-cum-lounge situated on the 43rd floor, promises breathtaking views of the Doha skyline and beautiful sea.  Talking about the concept of ‘Dim Sum Brunch’, Figen Caglar, Director of Marketing and Sales said , “We are following the tradition of ‘Yum cha’, or “going for dim sum”, which involves drinking Chinese tea and eating dim sum. “It is very popular in Cantonese-speaking regions in China, including the southern provinces of Guangdong and the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macau, and has spread to other regions worldwide due to the presence of the Chinese in Diaspora,” she said. “In general, people go to Yum cha with families, co-workers, and groups of people, so it is also a common choice for people to get together to catch up in Chinese tradition,” she added. Biella Food Review

Image
Calzone vegetarian  This Italian restaurant has a simple yet very stylish interior and it also has outdoor sitting space facing road. Qatar's weather in few days will make it tough to find a spot in outdoor sitting. They serve breads with butter, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. They take little time to serve food but it's totally worth it. So don't stuff yourself with breads as their portions are good enough. We ordered Buffalo cheese panini.. It was the tastiest sandwich I had and the cheese was apparently the best thing about it. We also ordered veg calzone. I was almost done after eating half calzone but I over ate because of its taste. You know it happens, right! We also ordered fresh apple juice! No complaints from juice as well. It was our cheat day and I am glad we chose Biella. Rating 4.5/5  http://zoma.to/r/6200950 Check more photos at the link :)

Review- Aryaas- Al Mansoura Doha

Image
RATED  4.0 I am a North Indian who loves to eat dosa which is a very popular cuisine from South India! Well, I had tried dosa only in the northern part of my country before I tried Aryaas, so as far as my experience goes, it was the best paper dosa I had till date. We ordered butter roast and ghee roast dosa and both were equally good, crispy and fresh. You can also order their masala tea, you will not be disappointed. I liked their coriander chutney the most , the sambhar taste was ordinary. The ambience is simple but the place is neat and clean. Butter Roast Dosa Ghee Roast Dosa
